Why should I buy a soy candle?
There are many good reason to buy soy candles. Here is a quick list to name just a few reasons.
- Buying soy candles support local farmers. Soy candles are made from the bi-products from actual soy beans grown here in the USA with no additives added.
- Soy candles also burn at a lower temperature which makes them last longer so if you touch the melted wax it will not burn you because of the low burn temperature.
- Soy wax is actually full of vitamin E and is a good moisturizer for your skin!
- Soy candles burn clean. Some say “no soot” but the truth is that everything that burns puts off smoke. Soy candles, on the other hand, puts off “little soot” with a properly trimmed wick. (If you have purchased a soy candle that did leave black soot around the jar I will have another post on here a little later explaining why that may have happened.)
